Project Home Activity Center
A project is the basis for all Project Center features and items, including action items, transmittals, submittals, etc. Use this activity center as your starting point from which you can access all project activities.

Add To My Projects
This task appears only if the current project is not in My Projects. Click to add the current project to the My Projects tab in the My Project Center activity center. The folders under the Newforma – Items to File Folder in your email client are also updated.
Edit Project Settings
You must be a Project Center administrator to edit project settings. Click to open the Edit Project Settings dialog box to edit the current project’s information.
Show Project Item Locks
Click to open the Project Item Locks dialog box to see which Project Center items are locked in the current project, and to unlock locked items.
Setup Mobile Apps
Click to open the Setup Mobile Apps dialog box to enable the listed activity centers for the current project on Info Exchange.
Return to My Project Center
Click to open the My Project Center activity center to select a different project to work with.
Join the Project Team
This task appears only if the current user is not a member of the project team. Click to open the Join Project Team dialog box to join the project team, which enables you to use all Project Center functionality. Project Overview
Project Name
Click the project name to open a popup window displaying the following information: NumberThe ID number of the current project. AddressThe project’s address. DescriptionThe project description. PhaseThe project’s phase. ManagerThe name of the project managerResponsible for the day-to-day working relationship with the client/building owner/developer; Logistical coordinator of design and construction; Identifies and tracks resolution of issues that are the responsibility of others; Responds to inquiries from client and reviewing agencies.. ClientThe name of the project’s client. ArchitectThe architect of the project. Lead DesignerThe lead designer for the project. General ContractorThe general contractor for the project. ContractThe contractor for the project. Landscape ArchitectThe landscape architect for the project. |
Project HomeDashboardThe Project Home Dashboard is available in Project Center 12.3 and higher. This section displays widgets that provide quick visibility into project status. For details, please see Project Home Dashboard. You can toggle between the following dashboard views by clicking the Toggle dashboard view icon:

Activity CentersUse this section to access the Project Center activities for the project. You can configure the activities and groups that appear in this section using the Edit Project Home Contents dialog box. You can also add custom activities. See Custom Activity Examples for more information. Favorite Activities/ActivitiesThese sections (which you can expand and collapse) lists all of the Project Center activities that you can use with your project and files. They are also available from the Activities drop-down list located in the Toolbar. Action ItemsClick to open the Action Items activity center to create and manage action items. Project Center AdministrationThis activity appears only if you are a Project Center administrator. Click to open the Project Center Administration activity center to manage Project Center projects, servers, contacts, companies, licensing, roles, global settings, indexing, permission sets, and Info Exchange file transfers. Project EmailClick to open the Project Email activity center to view and manage your project email files. Project FilesClick to open the Project Files activity center to browse project folders and files, and easily gather project data. Project ImagesClick to open the Project Images activity center to quickly browse all of the imageAVI, .BMP, .CAL, .EMF, .GIF, .ICO, .JPEG, .JPG, .MOV, .MPG, .PNG, .PSD, .TIF, .TIFF, .WMF, .WMV files that are in the current project . Project KeywordsClick to open the Project Keywords activity center to view the keywordsIn Project Center, keywords are words you can add to project items to use for filtering and searching. When you add keywords, they appear in the Keywords column of the corresponding Project Center activity centers and dialog boxes. You can then filter the list of items using the keywords to quickly find the items you are looking for, as well as do a project search for items containing the keywords. used in the current project. Sketches and Supplemental DrawingsClick to open the Sketches and Supplemental Drawings activity center to create and manage sketches and supplemental drawings. Spatial IndexClick to open the Spatial Index activity center to create spaces that track and index rooms, areas, and spaces from Autodesk Revit models. SubmittalsClick to open the Submittals activity center to create and manage submittals. TransmittalsClick to open the Project Transmittals activity center to view and manage transmittals. Supplemental InstructionsClick to open the Supplemental Instructions activity center to create and manage supplemental instructions. You can copy activity centers to the clipboard as hyperlinks that you can paste in other applications. To use this feature, right-click on an activity and select Copy Link to Clipboard. You can then insert the hyperlink in an application such as Microsoft Word or PowerPoint by clicking the Insert tab, then Hyperlink, and then pasting the hyperlink in the Address field. When anyone clicks the hyperlink, Project Center will open to thay activity center. Be aware that other applications can lock the clipboard, which would interfere with Project Center’s ability to copy to it. Custom groups and activitiesAny custom groups and activities you added using the Edit Project Home Contents dialog box will appear in the assigned locations. Choose a Recent FileRecently opened files are listed here. Click the file you want to open. The file opens in its native application, if available. For example, clicking a file with an extension of .DWG opens the file in AutoCAD; a file with an extension of .DOC opens in Microsoft Word. Files with extensions of .MSG (message files) are not included in this list. |
To access this activity center
Use one of the following methods:

Click the icon from the Toolbar.

Select a different project from the Current Project drop-down list in the Toolbar.

Choose another project from the My Project Center activity center.
