Procore Connector Update – NCS 1.2.0.4461

What’s New

  • NPC 2026.2 Compatibility: NCS has been updated to support the new encryption framework introduced in Newforma Project Center 2026.2. This ensures seamless, uninterrupted communication between your Connector Service and Project Center.
  • Faster file cleanup: We’ve optimized the file cleanup process to run more efficiently, reducing the load on your server during routine maintenance.
  • Configurable cleanup schedule: The default cleanup interval is now 30 minutes. If you’d like to adjust this to better suit your environment, you can set a custom interval via a registry value.
  • Improved item query performance: For environments with large volumes of project data, you can now configure how many items NCS retrieves per query. This helps prevent slowdowns when syncing large projects.
  • Smoother token renewal: The token renewal process has been improved for both local and cloud-managed tokens, reducing the chance of sync interruptions due to expired credentials.
  • Better failover for Procore users: When multiple Procore users are configured, NCS now properly switches to the secondary user if the primary user’s token expires—and switches back automatically when the primary token is re-authenticated.
  • Procore token management update: Procore tokens are no longer auto-refreshed via AWS Lambda. This change simplifies token management and keeps it aligned with your local NCS configuration.

Bug Fixes

  • Special characters in file names: Fixed an issue where files containing a “+” and a space in the name could fail to sync properly.
  • File name handling: Fixed an issue where files with unsupported characters in their names (typically originating from other operating systems) could cause sync failures.
  • RFI assignment display: Resolved an issue where an RFI set to automatically respond fails when assigned to a secondary ball in court user.
  • Migrated project sync: Resolved an issue where projects that had been migrated could cause the NCS sync process to stop working.

FAQs:

Q: Do I need to do anything to prepare for this upgrade?
A: No. no advance preparation is needed on your end.

Q: Will this affect my current token management setup?
A: No. The upgrade preserves whichever token management system you’re currently using (local or cloud). Your setup will continue working exactly as it does today.

Q: What if I’m still on an older version of NCS?
A: This release is designed to unify all recent versions into a single, up-to-date version. Regardless of which version you’re on, the upgrade path is the same.
