Newforma Project Center Message dialog box

Use this dialog box to remove keywordIn Project Center, keywords are words you can add to project items to use for filtering and searching. When you add keywords, they appear in the Keywords column of the corresponding Project Center activity centers and dialog boxes. You can then filter the list of items using the keywords to quickly find the items you are looking for, as well as do a project search for items containing the keywords. lists that are duplicated in the global data of all Project Center Servers that have replicated with each other. Click Yes to remove the duplicate lists. Click No to skip the process.

Clicking Yes makes Project Center scan the list assignments of all projects across all Project Center Servers to find out which of the duplicate lists are being used. The lists that are not being used are deleted. The lists that are in use are renamed with a unique name based on how much they are used. The list that is used the most frequently retains its original name. The list that is used the second most is renamed list2, the third most is renamed list3 and so on.

Be aware that this process could take many hours to complete for Project Center Servers with a large number of projects.

After the process completes, a log is generated containing the keyword list usage by project. If there are keyword lists still in use that you want to delete, use this log to identify the projects in which the lists are used and edit the settings of those projects. Another option is to use the Apply Project Settings task to update the list assignments of the projects. At that point you can safely delete the duplicated lists.
