Add Building Elements Extended Property dialog box

Use this dialog box to create a new extended property for building elements.

Group Name

Enter a name to categorize the extended property.

Property Name

Enter a property name to create an extended property in the Building Models and Elements activity center.

Default Value

Enter the default value to apply to this extended property.

Options

Show in Log View

Mark this checkbox to add the field as a column in the Building Models and Elements activity center.

 

To access this dialog box

Click Add from the top section of the Edit Building Element Extended Properties dialog box.
