Choose Holiday File Override dialog box
Use this dialog box to select a file to supply the holidays for the Project Timeline activity center for the current project only. It will override the holiday file selected in the Servers tab (for all projects) of the Project Center Administration activity center. Select the Project Center project containing the file from the left column.
A sample holiday file is stored in the templates directory in C:\Program Files\Newforma\Twelfth Edition\Project Center\Templates\Sample_Holiday_File.xlsx.
Project List
If the project you want to add the file from does not appear in the this column, click to open the Select a Project dialog box to select the project.
My Computer
Click to access the Open dialog box if you want to add the file from any Windows folder outside of Project Center.
Look In
Select the project folder in which the file is located. A list of folders in the project is listed. When you select the folder, the files from that folder are listed, including the names, types, sizes, modification dates, and the full paths to the files.
File Name
The name of the file selected.
Files of Type
Filter the list by selecting the file type you are looking for from this drop-down menu (either a Microsoft Excel file, or a file of type . ICSICS is a standard calendar file format that Project Center uses to import/export calendar information in the Project Timeline activity center. There are many applications (including Microsoft Outlook) that can import or export this file format, so users can use the applications to create calendars, export the .ICS file, then import it as a holiday file in the Project Center Administration activity center. The .ICS file also stores current and future project calendar information.)
If you choose an Excel file as the holiday file, the holidays from the Excel file will be used to create a new .ICS file with the same holidays, which will be used by Project Center instead.
You can only import .ICS files that were created in Project Center.
Open
Click to add the file to the Project Override field.
To access this dialog box
Click the button next to the Project Override field in the Timeline tab of the Edit Project Settings dialog box or the Create a New Project dialog box.
