How the Newforma Viewer Matches Objects When Counting Automatically

• If the selected object is a line, arc, circle, or polyline, then objects of the same type on the same layer are matched.

• If the selected object is a block reference, then all block references with the same block name and attribute values are matched.

• If the selected object contains text, then only objects with matching text are matched.

• The tool tip that pops up when you are counting objects displays a description of what is being matched.
