Change Order Missing on Contract Summary Tab
If you log a change order related to a contract, it may not appear in the Contract Summary tab. Whether it appears is dependent on which of two methods was used to create the change order:
If you create a change order, it will not automatically appear in the Contract Summary tab. You need to add a workflow step, such as forwarding it for review, for it to appear. Until the workflow step is added, the change order is saved as a draft. The change order’s status changes to Open once an action is taken.
If you log a received change order, it will automatically appear on the Contract Summary tab because the action creates an Open change order.
Use the Log a Received Change Order task for future change orders, even if you initiate them, so that they appear in the Contract Summary tab.
