Select a File dialog box

Use this dialog box to select a file to use as the default report template, or to locate a project file to compare to another file, depending on where you accessed it from. Select the Project Center project containing the file from the left column.

Project List

If the project you want to locate the file from does not appear in the this column, click to open the Select a Project dialog box to select the project.

My Computer

Click to access the Open dialog box if you want to add the file from any Windows folder outside of Project Center.

 

Look In

Select the project folder in which the file is located. A list of folders in the project is listed. When you select the folder, the files from that folder are listed, including the names, types, sizes, modification dates, and the full paths to the files.

File Name

The name of the selected file.

Files of Type

Filter the list by selecting the file type you are looking for from this drop-down menu.

Open

Click to open the file.

 

To access this dialog box

You can access this dialog box in the following ways:

Select one or more projects and click Change Project Settings > Admin > Default Report Template from the Tasks panel of the Project Center Administration activity center Projects tab.

Select a file, then click Compare to > Another File from the File Tasks panel.

Click EDMS Tasks > Add File from the Folder Tasks panel of the Project Files activity center.
