Send and Create Newforma Meeting button

Click Send and Create Newforma Meeting to choose one of the following actions to perform on the selected email itemSupported email items include email messages, tasks, posts, appointment/meetings, contacts, distribution lists, journal items, meeting requests, and reports. :

Choose Send and Create Newforma Meeting to send out the Microsoft Outlook meeting request and open the Create Meeting dialog box to add the meeting to a Project Center project (the Select Project dialog box opens first so you can select the project to add it to).

Choose Send and File in Project to open the File in Project dialog box to send out the Microsoft Outlook meeting request and file it to a project and/or project item.

Choose Actions to open the menu containing the following choices:

The Actions menu is only enabled when the selected message has already been filed and has a tagA tag is a text identifier that Project Center appends to an Outlook item’s Subject line to indicate which Project Center project and item the Outlook item is linked to. Do not edit or remove it.

The tag will look similar to the following example: ActionItem:00004:lCSPU appended to it.

    • Choose View to open the project item’s corresponding form to display the contents and the history of the selected item.

    • Choose Modify to open the project item’s corresponding modify dialog box to edit the item.

    • Choose Select in Project Center to open the project item in its corresponding activity center.

    • Choose Send and File in Project to open the File in Project dialog box to file the Outlook item to a new project and/or new project item. The Outlook item will not be linked to the original item.

Choose File as to open the File as dialog box to file the Microsoft Outlook appointment item as a new Project Center item or as a response to an item. Select the type of item from the dialog box.
