Choose New Server dialog box

Use this dialog box to move a Project Center project from one Project Center Server to another.

Important: Be aware that moving a project to another server’s database is a serious change. When you click OK, the server change process results in a loss of search and other project functionality until the indexing is finished on the new server, and could take a long time (depending on the size of the project), tying up the server until the change is completed.

After you move a project to another server, the project processes are performed on the new server. The project files are not moved from their physical locations on the network.

Select a New Server to Repin to

Select the Project Center Server to move the project to from the drop-down list.

 

To access this dialog box

Select a project, then click Repin to Another Server from the Tasks panel of the Project Center Administration activity center Projects tab.
